2025 Evening Sailing Sessions

2025 Evening Sailing Sessions - Subsidised by the Rawdon Smith Trust

The Rawdon Smith Trust (RST) have kindly agreed to subsidise events we run on the water for children and families by 2/3, meaning that children can attend our Sailing Club for LESS THAN £2 PER HOUR!

Fun & Relaxed sailing for Year 4 and above.  We aim to start at 1730 (arrive at 1715) and finish at 2030.  Please join our Facebook group "Water Park Adventure OnBoard Club" for more details and events. 

Focussing on sailing we deliver the RYA OnBoard Club Scheme which uses sailing to develop the "Six Character Attributes": Communication, Teamwork, Determination, Independence, Confidence + Creativity. 

On occasion we may offer varied activities other than sailing, to suit the weather, staffing, or to work towards the six areas mentioned above.  We will also be finishing the evening indoors, to chat, look at theories, play games etc. to be finished for 2030.

Spring Block - Four evenings                    £60 NOW only £20 with RST funding!

April -           Monday 28th

May -           WEDNESDAY 7th May, Mondays 12th + 19th

Summer Block – Seven evenings               £105 Now ONLY £35 with RST funding!     

June -          Mondays 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd + 30th

July –           Mondays 7th + 14th.

Autumn Block – Six evenings                     £90 Now ONLY £30 with RST funding!

September – Mondays 8th, 15th, 22nd + 29th

October -      Mondays 6th & 13th.

  • A minimum of one parent must stay on site, who has agreed to take shared "loco parentis", should a young person not be able to participate in the activity.

Due to Water Parks "Core Focus" being on Enriching Lives Through Adventure with Children from Deprived Areas, we will be creating a donation system for those that do not feel they need the financial support, and would like to donate some funds to help us continue to enable children from all backgrounds fairer access to adventure.
